This roster reveal was epic! If I wasn't excited about this game before (I was) then I am now! There were big names added to this years video game, and a few that were completely surprising. The live stream was a blast. It took us right into Los Angeles to witness an exciting roster reveal.
Before I get into my thoughts on the roster I just wanted to point out some cool moments not consisting the game's roster. Jerry "The King" Lawler, Jim Ross and Damien Sandow were there to do the revealing with Josh Roberts making the announcements. Damien Sandow was getting heat from the crowd by calling them ignoramuses, and I enjoyed every bit of it. Then, Damien took it to the next level by arguing with the fans that his robes was better than the revealed superstar in the game, Ric Flair's. After a couple shots at Flair's vintage "Wooo!" chant the man himself came out to confront Sandow. This segment was simply awesome. We got another look at how great Damien Sandow would've been in the WWE over a decade ago. Flair referred to Damien Sandow as an announcer. He said Damien MITB briefcase was a "wanna be" just like Damien. Then, he continued to downgrade Sandow's status by asking Jerry what Sandow's first name was. This led to a "Wooo!" vs "Silence!" chant battle between the two, which Flair won, of course. Afterward, Ric Flair fixed Damien Sandow's proclaimed "two dollar" tie, and said Sandow's suit was worth $30. Then, he showboated his Armani suit, and said his catchphrase "My shoes cost more than your house." Sandow defended himself by claiming his suit was a gift from his mother and stormed out. This segment was hilarious and entertaining, and WWE should consider bringing a segment like that to the TV screen.

Yes.. I said it. Goldberg. Take it in. Okay.
This was the biggest surprise of the show. Goldberg has always talked trash about WWE on his twitter, and it seemed as if he wanted to do nothing with them. We were all fooled. The only question is will this lead to his return. He did say on his twitter that if he were to return to WWE he would come to fight Triple H which sounds like a possible match. He also said he would like to return as a heel. He seems to have put a lot of thought in it for someone who doesn't want to return.
Another superstar that got me excited was Batista. I love to play as this guy. I expect to see his match with Triple H at Wrestlemania 21 to be in the story mode since that match pushed him to the top, and was the main event of the show. That also reminds me that we now have all four pieces of The Evolution for the first time in a long time! I know a lot of people will be reuniting these wrestlers for their Universe!
I'm also excited to see Razor Ramon and Diesel in the game. Although Kevin Nash would have been better, at least we get to have NWO in the game, kinda.
Some things I noticed in the reveal was JR reassured that he and Jerry Lawler will be doing commentating for 30 Years of Wrestlemania Mode. He also mntioned Howard Finkel's inclusion as an announcer in the game. I noticed Randy Orton has a t-shirt in his entrance this year, and CM Punk enters with a hoodie. I noticed Ricardo Rodriguez came out for Alberto Del Rio with his signature bucket. I would love to us this bucket as a weapon! I don't think it will happen, but who know?
